UlasanAnime.com – The initial blogger party at Anime Expo 2012 was quite a success, though for older attendees like us, it meant an earlier departure. Still operating on East Coast time, we found ourselves waking up considerably earlier than the more energetic local attendees.
The press registration line was the longest we’ve ever encountered.

I managed to capture over 900 photographs during the various press events. Lisa’s brief dance performance was, to say the least, a memorable sight. It was a pleasure to see the entire FictionJunction group – Keiko, Yuriko, Karoi, and Wakana – performing with the band. In the case of Animetal, it was the band itself that took center stage. While the Madhouse representatives were serious, it was notable to see two senior director types, Sato and Asaka, present. Aoki, in comparison, appeared quite inexperienced.
