UlasanAnime.com – The Otakon 2012 experience began for me even before the official start, as I arrived in Baltimore on Day -1. Day 0 was largely spent enjoying the sweltering heat at Camden Yards. Unfortunately, James Shields found himself in trouble, marking the end of the game for the team. This experience also highlighted the challenges of being an Orioles fan; I sincerely hope they make the playoffs this year.
There was a moment of realization, accompanied by a thought: “I don’t need THIS ONE!”
By Day 1, I had the opportunity to meet and greet most of the internet and Twitter personalities I had hoped to see. My plan is to catch up with the rest tomorrow, and for now, a little bit of sleep is in order.

Nanri Yuuka, when dressed up, possesses a surprisingly exotic allure. She has a natural beauty that doesn’t quite translate to her pinup shots. However, I can’t entirely disagree with Momotato’s “type 3″ cute assessment, though I’m not entirely sure what he means by that. When she’s simply walking around the convention, you might barely notice this 4’11” Japanese woman blending in with the crowd.
An interesting interaction occurred with the Aniplex representative working with Urobuchi, who recognized my script from Anime Expo. Perhaps when the timing is right, I might consider donating it. I’m in a mood for such gestures. For that to be a meaningful donation, more people need to watch Fate/Zero, as it would likely fetch a higher price.
This Mikako Joho girl is quite alright.
The highlight of the day, at least from a blogging perspective, was discovering that Fogo de Chao in Baltimore had no lines and was priced at $30 per person. This was an A+ deal, and I would definitely do it again.
