A Musical: Honoring Floe

A Stage Production...

The scene opens on the deck of the Arcus Prima, a once magnificent flying fortress now in disrepair and abandoned. The view transitions to an aging music machine, its melody winding down, filling the desolate space with a melancholic tune.

Back on deck, Limone and Lodoremon are seated side by side on a park bench. They quietly observe the sparse natural beauty that has begun to reclaim the temple garden, a testament to nature’s persistent reclamation.

Limone: So is this it?

Lodoremon: It seems that is it! How is life with Dominura?

Limone: Oh, it’s… interesting. But enough about me! How are you?

Lodoremon: Oh, haha, you know how it is. I barely get by these days. So swamped with work, especially given what’s going on with Argetum and Plumbum. It’s rather nice, a change of pace, to sit here and chat and watch them go at it.

Limone: I think it’s embarrassing.

Floe [off the screen]: No it’s not!

The scene abruptly shifts to Paraietta, standing center stage under a spotlight, with curtains drawn. She strikes a dramatic pose and begins to sing:

Paraietta: You are everything that is bright and clean / The antonym of me / You are divinity.

A flashback follows, depicting a prayer to the Plumbum priestesses, an act of violation, and then a prayer scene between Paraietta and Neviril.

The scene cuts back to the stage, with Lodoremon now in the spotlight, also singing:

Lodoremon: But a certain sign of grace is this / From the broken earth flowers come up / Pushing through the dirt!

Another flashback ensues, showing Mamiina, then her cutting her hair, and finally her lying in a flowery field.

Yun then appears on stage, alone in the spotlight, delivering her song:

Yun: You are everything that is bright and clean / And You’re covering me with Your majesty

This is accompanied by a flashback of Onashia, Yun making a nest, and then Yun embracing Onashia.

Morinas takes the stage next, bathed in spotlight, and sings:

Morinas: And the truest sign of grace was this / From wounded hands redemption fell down / Liberating man!

The flashback for Morinas includes Waporif waving, a notable scene from episode 15 involving Morinas’s chest, and Waporif’s final moments in episode 26.

On stage, spotlights illuminate Alti and Kaimu, holding hands as they sing together:

Alti & Kaimu: But the harder I try the more clearly can I feel / The depth of our fall and the weight of it all

A flashback shows scenes of violation, a shower, and a childhood moment between Alti and Kaimu.

Neviril steps into the spotlight, singing her part:

Neviril: And so this might could be the most impossible thing / Your grandness in me making me clean!

Her flashback includes the exploded cockpit, Neviril consoling Aeru in episode 21, and a scene in jail with Neviril.

The stage is now filled with hands joined, from left to right: Paraietta, Kaimu, Alti, Morinas, Lodoremon, Yun, and Neviril. They sing in chorus:

Group: Glory, hallelujah / Glory, glory, hallelujah

Suddenly, loud cracks echo through the ceiling. The camera pans up to reveal Aeru, suspended by wire-fu, descending onto the stage. She sings as she floats down:

Aeru: So here I am, all of me / Finally everything / I am wholly yours.

Floe’s voice cuts through the music: “CUT CUT CUT!”

The view abruptly shifts to a more mature, masculine Floe, who slams a conic tube onto what appears to be a “director’s chair” multiple times.

Aeru’s descent halts mid-air.

Aeru: Ouch! Hey, what’s wrong this time, now?

Aeru ascends again as the view returns to a contemplative Floe.

Floe: It’s… just the timing. [Floe turns to his right, and the view pans to Anubituf, looking effortlessly cool in shades, as seen in episode 26.] What do you think?

Anubituf: Need more kissing.

A dishpan lands on Anubituf’s head but bounces off harmlessly.

Floe [bouncing her fist off her palm]: I know! Synchronized swimming! I even know a great place to do it!

The scene cuts back to the group on stage.

Group: No.

Aeru [off screen]: Nooo!

A flash of white swiftly moves across the screen, followed by a crash as Aeru lands in the orchestra pit.

Guragief [off screen]: Sorry! Wrong lever!

The scene cuts to Floe, who dodges a falling dishpan.

Floe: Eh-heh?

The scene shifts to a distant, lightly forested area, featuring a gazebo. Dominura is seated under the gazebo, sipping tea. Across from her sits an older woman with red eyes and long brown hair.

Dominura: So. How do you deal with this skin condition?
